Field Service Software Technician

Your tasks:

  • Software quality assurance before, during and after launching into production
  • Technical support to systems implemented in projects (Incape, Warehouse, UserManagement)
  • Provide training on the software use
  • Execute software tests
  • Identify, document and report errors or malfunctions in the software
  • Implementation of the developed software to production
  • Support for systems implemented in projects
  • Troubleshoot machine controls in RFID systems and assembly systems in the semiconductor industry.
  • Implement, maintain and/or troubleshoot software to control the production and processing of RFID smart labels and semiconductor components or in the machine.
  • Expand and optimize existing processes.
  • Support generating and carrying out test scenarios for software and hardware components.
  • Work interdisciplinary and internationally with research and development teams.

Your Profile:

Professional Characteristic:

  •       Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  •    Good knowledge of software development in C / C ++.
  •    Good knowledge of the Windows operating system: Device Manager, Registry Editor, etc.
  •    Networking skills
  •    Good technical understanding of integrating multiple components between Software and Hardware
  •       Willingness and ability to travel internationally and domestic when required.
  •    Goal-oriented and practice-oriented approach.
  •       Assertiveness and organizational talent and team spirit.

 

Personal Characteristic:

  • Ability to analyze problems, identify causes, and propose solutions
  • The ability to travel 6 weeks to Germany for training
  • The ability to travel to client locations (US, Canada or Mexico) anywhere from 1-2 weeks  if troubleshooting remotely is not available.
  • Good technical writing skills and excellent spelling
  • Team player
  • Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Willingness to travel
  • Honesty, confidentiality, and responsibility
