- Leading and managing R&D projects from inception to commercialization, ensuring they are on time, within budget, and meet technical specifications
- Staying abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, identifying opportunities for innovation and product development
- Working with cross-functional teams (e.g., marketing, sales, assembly) to ensure seamless integration of R&D outputs
- Tracking R&D progress, analyzing results, and reporting on performance against key metrics
- Providing technical guidance and mentoring to engineers, helping them grow their skills and knowledge
- Keeping abreast of the latest technologies and trends in software development
