The Repair Technician Machine Shop is responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing various types of small assembly groups . This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Repair Technician
Your tasks:
Machine Diagnosis and Repair:
- Inspect and diagnose issues with machinery, tools, and equipment in the shop.
- Perform repairs on mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical components.
- Replace or repair defective parts, using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment.
Preventive Maintenance:
- Conduct routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance and reduce downtime.
- Maintain records of maintenance and repairs performed.
Equipment Calibration:
- Calibrate and adjust machinery as needed to meet production specifications and safety standards.
- Ensure all repaired and maintained equipment is functioning correctly before returning to service.
Other Duties as Assigned:
- Manage day-to-day inventory and shipping operations (logistics).
- Handle customer inquiries and schedule repairs.
- Implement and maintain quality control processes.
- Handle financial aspects and reporting.
- Support the manager in all aspects of division operations.
Your profile:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or relevant trade school training preferred.
- Proven experience as a repair technician or similar role, preferably in a machine shop environment.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical components.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Proficiency in inventory management and logistics.
- Proficiency in using inventory management systems
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects and work in various shop conditions (noise, dust, etc.).
Working Conditions:
- Work is performed in a machine shop environment with exposure to noise, dust, and moving machinery.
- Regular standing, walking, and lifting of heavy objects are required.
